Infrared sauna

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Always drink plenty of water before, during and after your sauna session! We provide complimentary water to drink during your session as well as a towel for your use.

Remove all make-up to allow your skin to receive the full benefits of the infrared waves.

WHAT TO WEAR

Lightweight shorts and a t-shirt are ok, swimsuits are better, birthday suits are great too. We recommend bringing clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable to put back on after your session. The struggle of putting on yoga pants when you are sweaty is real!

DURING YOUR SESSION

You may not sweat much during your first 2-3 sessions. This is normal for most, especially if you haven’t had a recent history of sweating and/or your body isn’t accustomed to the infrared rays.

Take care not to overheat during your first few sessions. Reduce your session time if needed and as your body continues to adjust to the infrared rays sweating can increase dramatically and body temp regulation happens more readily.

Stretching your arms, legs and back area during your session creates more body flexibility. Massage congested and “knotty” muscles to help alleviate troubled areas.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

When you finish your sauna session it is important to relax and cool down while your body continues to perspire. Sit or recline for 5-10 minutes afterward. Let your body do the work to return itself to it’s regular temperature.

Wait at least 30-40 minutes before you shower.
